Ingredients

  • 2 scallions
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 an onion
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup of rice
  • 8 thin slices of beef
  • 1/4 cup kimchi
  • 1/2 cup canned corn
  • 1 tbsp butter

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic grated

Garnish

  • Scallion greens
  • tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

    Slice the green onions, onion, and kimchi, and mince you’re garlic.

    Make the sauce by whisking together all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

    Heat a pan on high heat and add the oil. Sauté the garlic, onion, and the scallion whites until fragrant.

    Add the rice, kimchi, beef slices, corn, butter, and the sauce. Stir everything together.

    Cook for about 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds so the rice doesn’t stick and the beef cooks evenly.

    Garnish with the scallion greens, chili flakes, and sesame seeds before serving.
