Gochujang Salmon Bites 1

Ingredients

Salmon

  • 12 oz salmon, cubed
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil

Gochujang Sauce

  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 white part of scallion, sliced
  • 1 ½ tbsp gochujang
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp water (to thin sauce)

Garnish

  • Scallion greens, sliced
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

    Prep the salmon: Cube your salmon and season with salt and pepper.

    Cook the salmon: Heat oil in a pan and brown your salmon cubes on all sides. Remove and set aside.

    Sauté aromatics: In the residual oil, sauté garlic and the white part of your green onion until fragrant.

    Make the sauce: Add gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and water. Stir until smooth and heated through.

    Combine salmon and sauce: Return your salmon to the pan and toss gently to coat with the sauce.

    Serve: Spoon over rice and garnish with green onion greens and sesame seeds.
