  • 2 packs of enoki mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups of cold beer
  • 2 tbsp seasoning blend
  • Thai Basil

Seasoning blend

  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp msg
  • 1 tsp five spice powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder

Instructions

    Trim the root ends off your enoki mushrooms and separate them into small bundles.

    In a bowl, whisk together rice flour, all-purpose flour, and cold beer until you get a light batter.

    Dip your mushroom bundles into the batter, making sure they’re evenly coated.

    Heat oil in a pan to 350°F, fry the mushrooms in batches until golden and crispy.

    Fry your Thai basil until crispy.

    Drain your fried mushrooms and Thai basil on paper towels and sprinkle your seasoning blend on top.
