Tofu Satay Skewers 1

Ingredients

Tofu

  • 1 block of extra firm tofu
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tbsp oil

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Thai curry paste
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp water

Garnishes

  • Cilantro
  • Scallions
  • Crushed peanuts
  • Sesame seeds
  • Chili oil

Instructions

    Mix together all your sauce ingredients.

    Pat dry your tofu and cut into cubes.

  3. 3

    Skewer your tofu cubes, then season and dust with corn starch.

  4. 4

    Pan fry your tofu skewers in oil until crispy.

  5. 5

    Pour most of your sauce into the pan, and cook with the skewers.

  6. 6

    Garnish with leftover sauce, cilantro, scallions, crushed peanuts, sesame seeds, and chili oil.
