Coconut Milk Fish

Ingredients


Main

  • 8 oz of fish

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • 1 tsp of minced ginger

  • 1 green onion

  • 1 small shallot

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 1/2 a can of coconut milk

  • fish sauce, lime juice, and honey (or sugar) to taste

Garnishes

  • Green onion

  • Cilantro

  • Sesame seeds

  • Chili oil

Directions


  1. Slice your limes and mince your garlic, ginger, green onion, and shallot.

  2. Sauté your aromatics in oil until fragrant.

  3. Shake and add 1/2 a can of coconut milk, then season with fish sauce, lime juice, and honey (or sugar).

  4. Add your fish, and poach for a couple of minutes until cooked through.

  5. Garnish with green onion, cilantro, sesame seeds, and chili oil, and serve with rice.
