Tofu Satay Skewers

Ingredients


Tofu

  • 1 block of extra firm tofu

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp corn starch

  • 1 tbsp oil

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Thai curry paste

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • 1 tsp grated ginger

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp lime juice

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk

  • 2 tbsp water

Garnishes

  • Cilantro

  • Scallions

  • Crushed peanuts

  • Sesame seeds

  • Chili oil

Directions


  1. Mix together all your sauce ingredients.

  2. Pat dry your tofu and cut into cubes.

  3. Skewer your tofu cubes, then season and dust with corn starch.

  4. Pan fry your tofu skewers in oil until crispy.

  5. Pour most of your sauce into the pan, and cook with the skewers.

  6. Garnish with leftover sauce, cilantro, scallions, crushed peanuts, sesame seeds, and chili oil.
